I was interested if there are plans to support the new AD9136 FMC card with a reference ZC706 or Mini-ITX design. It looks as if the current AD9144 FMC HDL and Linux drivers could be altered to support the AD9136 with 4 JESD204 lanes used.
In look over the data sheets it appeared that there is some small difference in the JESD204 lane data encoding and settings between the AD9144 setup for just 4 JESD204 lanes to drive two DACs and AD9136 using 4 lanes.
I thought I would ask before I start hacking away on my own.
The ADI team is doing great with the HDL and Linux support offerings for the various FMC cards.
